2019 Main Street Merry Outdoor Tree Decorating Contest

2019 Main Street Merry Outdoor Tree Decorating Contest is in the books!!  This was the 2nd year that Grandview, Missouri downtown sponsored an outdoor Christmas Tree Decorating Contest.  The entrees & creativity definitely were stepped up in year 2.  

For $50, you sponsor a tree and decorate it as you chose.  Keep the decorations kid friendly.   Some major wind the day of judging proved very challenging for some of us.  My sweet tree blew down 3 times.  

The judges were quite brave to visit all the trees and select winners.  Drumroll please, here are the winners:

Best Business Theme – Holloway’s Motorcycle Repair

While we didn’t win this year, we had a blast participating.  We are already planning on our 2020 tree.  The kids and I enjoyed walking down Main Street Merry and taking pictures with many of the entrees.
